The Portugal National Football Team have secured their place in the UEFA Euro 2024 quarterfinals after winning over Slovenia in a penalty shootout in the round of 16. Both Portugal and Slovenia could not score a single goal as their defences got the better of them. When it came to the penalty shootout, Portugal stood tall as Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva converted a penalty each and none of the players from the Slovenia National Football Team were able to do so. After the win, CR7 took to his official social media handles and posted some pictures from the match with the caption, "Inexplicable moments. Let's give it our all! Thank you."
