Deportivo Alaves defender Abdel Abqar asked Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappe at halftime during the La Liga 2024-25 match. As soon as Abqar asked for his jersey, Mbappe gave it to the Moroccan defender. Real Madrid led by 2-0 at halftime and later were able to win the match by 3-2. Abqar was later subbed off with Jon Guridi in the 46th minute of the match. Mbappe also played a role in Real Madrid's win over Alaves and scored a goal in the 40th minute of the match.
