Julian Nagelsmann Appointed as Germany Men's Football Head Coach Ahead of UEFA Euro 2024
Julian Nagelsmann previously succeeded Hansi Flick as Bayern Munich coach in 2021. His squad won its tenth straight Bundesliga championship under his leadership. Now he has another task in hand to help Germany get out of their bad form before UEFA Euro 2024.
Germany hired Julian Nagelsmann to coach the men's national football team, trusting the former Bayern Munich coach to perform better than the previous coach. The German Football Association, in an announcement on social media, stated they have appointed Nagelsmann on a short-term contract ahead of UEFA Euro 2024. Hansi Flick, his predecessor, was dismissed from the role after a string of poor performances with the German National team. According to reports, Sandro Wagner and Benjamin Gluck are set to be the new assistant coaches under Julian Nagelsmann's leadership.
