Kerala Blasters defender Milos Drincic and Mumbai City FC midfielder Yoell Van Nieff have been suspended by the AIFF disciplinary committee for three straight matches for misconduct during the ISL 2023 match between the two teams. The incident began when Mumbai's Gurkirat Singh and KBFC's Sandeep Singh got into a fight and were given yellow cards. Soon after, defender Milos Drincic shoved Mehtab Singh with his shoulder after fouling Kerala's Kwame Peprah and Rahul K.P. Yoell Van Nieff of Mumbai and Prabir Das of Kerala became especially combative as it quickly descended into a free-for-all.
