Neymar Jr has made his return to football after his ACL injury. Neymar was seen in action after almost a year during the Al Ain vs Al-Hilal AFC Champions League 2024–25 match. Neymar did not start for Al-Hilal but was used as a substitution. Neymar entered the field in the 77th minute after Nasser Al-Dawsari was substituted. Al-Hilal grabbed a stunning victory over Al Ain in the nine-goal thriller. Salem Aldawsari scored a hat-trick which led Al-Hilal to a 5-4 win over the AFC Champions League defending champions Al Ain.
