Chennaiyin FC defeated NorthEast United 2-1 to continue their undefeated start in ISL 2021-22, making it two wins on the bounce. Anirudh Thapa, Lallianzuala Chhangte scored for the former champions as Vishal Kaith's own goal had got the Highlanders back into the game.
Chennaiyin FC recorded their second consecutive win in ISL 2021-22 as they defeated NorthEast United in Margao. Anirudh Thapa scored a late winner after Vishal Kaith's own goal had canceled out Lallianzuala Chhangte strike.
