After a disappointing performance in the first match of the Copa America 2024, the Brazil team delivered a perfect response winning their second match 4-1 against Paraguay. Vinicius Jr scored a brace against 10-men Paraguay team.
The Brazil National Football Team played with determination as they thrashed the Paraguay National Football Team 4-1 in their second group-stage match of the Copa America 2024. The side took a commanding 3-0 lead at the break with Vinicius Jr. scoring twice in the final 10 minutes of the half. Lucas Paqueta missed a penalty in the 31st minute but went on to score from the spot in the second half. Omar Alderete scored for Paraguay in the 48th minute but the side went down to 10 men after Andres Cubas was sent off in closing 10 minutes. With the Win Brazil now secures second place in the Group D points table and will qualify to the next round even with a draw in their final group-stage match.
