Wimbledon 2021: Matteo Berrettini Beats Hubert Hurkacz, Becomes First Italian To Reach Final

Before Berrettini, Adriano Panatta was the only Italian to reach a Grand Slam final, that too, at the 1976 French Open which he had won. Berrettini is currently 11-0 in grass court in 2021.

Italian tennis player Matteo Berrettini became the first Italian to reach the final of Wimbledon on Friday. The 25-year old defeated Hubert Hurkacz 6-3, 6-0, 6-7(3), 6-4 to seal a spot in the summit clash.
