OpenAI announces its partnership with The Lenfest Institute for Journalism, a local news organisation and tech giant Microsoft, to explore "how AI can drive innovation and business sustainability in local journalism. The ChatGPT developer said it would achieve this with the Institute AI Collaborative and Fellowship program. The fellowship is said to provide OpenAI and Microsoft Azure credit to help publications such as Chicago Public Media, Newsday Minnesota Star Tribune, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and The Seattle Times.
