At the end of Day 14 of the Asian Games 2018, India ended its Asiad campaign on a high. On an eventful day, the Indian contingent won 2 Gold Medals, a Silver and a Bronze Medal on Saturday. With the medal wins, the Indian team has now won a total of 69 medals at 2018 Games - their best performance till date!

Earlier in the day, it was boxer Amit Panghal who opened the account with a Gold medal. The 22-year-old boxer defeated former Olympic Gold medallist to win the Men's 49kg Flyweight tournament. Soon after, Indian duo of Pranab Bardhan and Shibhnath Sarkar who won a Gold Medal in Bridge Men's Pair event.

There were high hopes from the Indian Women's Squash team, but India had to remain content with the Silver medal. Ending their Asian Games 2018 campaign on a high, the Indian team beat Pakistan to secure a Bronze medal in the event.

As per the latest Medal standings, India is currently on the 8th spot, with 69 medals in its kitty. India managed to secure 57 medals at the Incheon Asian Games 2014 that included 11 gold, 9 silver, and 37 bronze.
