Indian shooter Esha Singh won a gold medal in the ongoing Asian Shooting Championships 2019. The young Indian athlete won the first prize in the women’s 10m Air Pistol (Junior) event. She scored 242.2 points in the final to bag the gold medal. Another Indian female shooter Priya Raghav won a bronze medal in the same event. Raghav scored 217.6 points in the event in the final. Korean shooter Hyo Jeong won the silver medal in the event. Jeong scored 237.3 points in the final outcome. Saurabh Chaudhary and Manu Bhaker Win Gold Medal at ISSF World Cup 2019 Munich in 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Event. 

Apart from Esha Singh and Priya Raghav, Yuivka Tomar had also qualified for the finals of the Women's 10m Air Pistol (Junior) event. However, she lost out of winning a medal in the event. Asian Shooting Championships 2019 is undergoing in Doha, Qatar. It commenced on November 5 and will conclude on November 13. Manu Bhaker Secures Seat in Delhi University's LSR College, Indian Shooter to Study Political Science. 

 

Gold for India!

Earlier, shooter Manu Bhaker had claimed women's 10m air pistol gold medal on Tuesday. Deepak Kumar won a bronze medal in men's 10m air rifle and secured his Olympic quota for the forthcoming Tokyo Olympics 2020. Deepak shot 227.8 in the eight-man final to finish third on the podium. Later on the opening day, 17-year-old Bhaker shot 244.3 to win the top prize in her event. Indian contingent of shooters is aiming to clinch as many as Olympic quotas as they can in Asian Shooting Championships 2019.
