The Beijing Olympics 2022 which begins on February 4 and ends on 20 of the same month unveiled its mascot today. The panda is named as Bing Dwen Dwen is the mascot for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics & Paralympic. The panda is seen donning a suit of ice and also has a heart of gold. The mega-event is scheduled to include 109 events over 15 disciplines in seven sports. The opening ceremony of the event will be held on February 4, 2022, which will a stellar display of the Chinese culture. Seven New Events Included in 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

The closing ceremony will be held on February 20, 2022. As per Wikipedia, the ceremony will include the culture of China, the city will hand over the Olympic flag from Beijing to the host cities of the 2026 Games: Milan/Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy and the extinguishing of the Olympic flame. The Emblem of the event was unveiled in 2017 itself.  Character 冬 is the emblem of the event, which signifies winter and is inspired by snow.
