Afghanistan were bowled out for 207 after electing to bat first against Australia in ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 match on Saturday. The Afghanistan  team recovered from early blows delivered by Australian pacer Mitchell Starc. Winning the toss, Afghanistan skipper Gulbadan Naib chose to bat first. However, both the openers of Afghanistan, Mohammad Shahzad and Hazratullah Zazai got out for ducks. But number four batsman Rahmat Shah and middle order batsman Najibullah Zadran helped Afghanistan reach over the score of 100. Zadran was dismissed for 51. Australian spinner Adam Zampa picked three wickets to break the back of Afghanistan batting. However, some brilliant hitting from Rashid Khan at the end, supported by Mujeeb ur Rahman helped Afghanistan cross over 200. Rashid Khan hit Marcus Stoinis 20 runs in a over. Hiowever, Zampa got him out and they were bundled out for 207. Australia needs 208 to win the match.
