Australia are 1-0 up in the two-match Test series against Pakistan and are the firm favourites to clinch the second encounter too. Moreover, the second encounter is a day-night Test in which Australia have a cent percent record which increases their chances of victory even more. These facts clearly depict that the Aussie dug-out must have a chilled atmosphere and that’s exactly what was seen on Day 1 of the second Test. Australia won the toss and elected to bat first but the start of day’s play was delayed by rain. In the ongoing clash, however, Burns couldn’t repeat his heroics and fell prey to Shaheen Afridi for just four runs. However, Warner picked up from where he left in Brisbane and is looking all set to notch up another mammoth score. Hosts are leading the two-match affair 1-0 which means a victory here will seal the deal for them. On the other hand, Pakistan will seek to make a strong comeback in order to level the series 1-1.
