Deepak Chahar has arrived! Playing his only second T20I international for India, Chahar rattled the West Indies top order to finish with career-best figures of 3-1-4-3. His three overs included one maiden, four runs and three wickets and by the time he had finished his third over, West Indies were reduced to 3/22. The Haryana fast bowler, who made his name as MS Dhoni’s most lethal weapon in the opening overs during the Indian Premier League (IPL), showed the world what he could be for team India in the international level. India vs West Indies Live Cricket Score 3rd T20I 2019 Match.

Chahar came to bowl the second over of the West Indies innings – after skipper, Virat Kohli had won the toss and opted to field first – and required just five deliveries to get his first wicket in the match. A short ball to Sunil Narine, after he had troubled him with fuller lengths, saw the left-handed batsman top-edge to Navdeep Saini at mid-on. Two deliveries later, Chahar had his second wicket and this time it was the big-hitting opener, Evin Lewis. Rahul Chahar Makes India Debut; See The Moment Captain Virat Kohli Hands Him Indian Cap And Welcomes in Team (Watch Video).

Chahar showed brilliant use of his ability to seam the ball to trap the West Indian opening batsman plumb in front of the wicket. He reviewed but the out decision stayed and four deliveries later Chahar completed his third wicket-haul. It was the 26-year-old’s first three-wicket haul in international cricket in his only second T20I appearance for India.
