DSport, a sports channel owned by Discovery Networks Asia Pacific, has stopped the live telecast of Pakistan Super League 2019 (PSL 2019). DSport, which apparently holds the broadcast rights of PSL 2019 in India, already had provided the telecast of league’s opening ceremony and first three matches. “We’ve suspended the broadcast,” a top channel official was quoted as saying by Bangalore Mirror.

Over 40 personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed when a terrorist of Pakistan-based outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a bus they were travelling in on Thursday.

Following the attack on CRPF, celebrities across various fields have called for snapping of cultural ties with Pakistan. Earlier in the day, former cricketer and Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu was sacked by Sony from 'The Kapil Sharma Show' after his remarks on Pulwama terror attack triggered outrage. Despite Pulwama Terror Attack, Real Kashmir vs Minerva Punjab, I-League Match to Be Held in Srinagar As Scheduled, CEO Sunando Dhar Confirms.

"For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual? It (Pulwama terror attack) is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished," Sidhu had said during a media interaction following the attack in Pulwama.

Meanwhile, PSL is appearing on DSport’s TV listing and on its website, but looks like the channel is in no mood to telecast Pakistan’s T20 league in India.
