India is on the verge of clinching another clean sweep as they are just two wickets away from sealing the third Test and registering a 3-0 series victory. At stumps on Day 3, South Africa were reeling at 132/8  with Anrich Nortje (5) and Theunis de Bruyn (30) on the crease. The visitors are still 203 runs behind India’s first innings tally and could well face an innings defeat for the second consecutive time. The Indian bowlers looked at their prime as they took wickets at regular intervals and never let the opposition to settle down. The pacers majorly dominated the third day as Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav bowled with hostility and till now the duo has claimed 10 wickets in the match. India Vs South Africa, Live Cricket Score 3rd Test Match.

At the start of the day, South Africa came on to bat at 9/2 in their first innings. The Proteas batting line-up was dented by the hosts and were bundled out for mere 162 runs. After being enforced a follow on, the visitors continued their dismal run and lost wickets upfront. Salt was added to their misery when Dean Elgar got hit by a ferocious bouncer by Umesh Yadav and was forced to leave the field. Theunis de Bruyn replaced the southpaw and became the first concussion substitute for South Africa.

Talking about India’s first innings, Rohit Sharma and deputy Ajinkya Rahane piled up their tons and powered India to a massive first innings total of 497 runs. In reply, the Faf du Plessis led side never looked settled in the match and put up a dismal performance. As of now, India need just two wickets to win the match and they could well achieve it in the first session of the fourth day.
