India defeated Bangladesh by 30 runs in the 3rd T20I match. India also won the series 2-1 after pleasing victory over their Asian rivals. Shivam Dube, who was playing his third T20I match, came to limelight with three wickets. Deepak Chahar took six wickets in the match along with a hattrick which became the talking point of the match. The India vs Bangladesh 3rd T20I match witnessed India putting up a huge score of 174-5 on the scoreboard batting first. Bangladesh were going good at one point with Mohammad Naim on the crease. Naim smashed an 81-run knock in the match. Mohammad Mithun scored 27 runs. However, Dube, Yuzvendra Chahal and Deepak Chahar bowled well to take the victory in India’s favour. Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first. Rohit Sharma was dismissed cheaply for just 2 runs while Shikhar Dhawan also lost his wicket at 19. But the middle-order batsmen KL Rahul (52) and Shreyas Iyer (62) managed the batting well. Both smashed half-centuries to take India to 174-5 in 20 overs. Bangladesh bowlers largely failed against India's bowling attack. Shafiul Islam and Soumya Sarkar took two wickets each while Al-Amin Hossain clinched one wicket.

A two-match Test series will follow the T20I series. The first match starts on November 14. India will be playing their first day-night Test match at Eden Gardens in Kolkata during India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test which starts on November 22.
