All eyes were on the CoA members who were about to declare the full squad for upcoming India vs West Indies 2019 series. The meeting was to happen tomorrow on Friday on July 19, 2019, but now as per a report by the India Today, the meeting has been postponed. The report further stated that the meeting will be held on Saturday or Sunday. India will play three T20Is, as many ODIs and Tests against the West Indies in the United States and West Indies between August 3 and September 3. Also, India’s exit from the CWC 2019 was a cause of worry as the COA would have many talk points about the recently concluded tournament. The selection committee was going to be headed by MSK Prasad. Earlier it was said that Virat Kohli will not be travelling to West Indies. Meanwhile, the Committee of Administrators has said that the meeting will be organised by the chief selector and not by the BCCI secretary. It is also said that the selection committee continues to stay I touch with Hon. Secretary to seek his approval in relation to any change or replacement in the team/teams.  “The selection committees continue to address e-mails to the Hon. Secretary seeking his approval on travel arrangements and posting for selectors to watch and attend cricket matches," stated CoA. Now it would be interesting to see what alteration would be made in the squad for the upcoming tour of West Indies.
