The first two sessions of the second Test match between India and England at Lord’s Cricket Ground were washed out following persistent rains. The rains resulted in the delay of the toss as well. While the opening day’s play looks set to be spoiled by the rain, the playing XIs of India and England for the Lord’s Test have apparently surfaced on the Twitter. However, there is no confirmation of the same.

A Twitter user with the name ‘fake_bumrah_’ posted the image of a scoresheet in which he claims India are unchanged for the 2nd Test. If at all it is true, then Cheteshwar Pujara has been ignored once again. The right-hander was dropped for the opening Test at Edgbaston, which India lost by 31 runs. What makes us believe that the scoresheet shared belongs to the second Test is the fact that under England’s column it has Ollie Pope’s name who was drafted in the squad following the first Test. The 20-year-old batsman is all set to make his Test debut which was confirmed by Joe Root. However, chances are that the scoresheet could be photoshopped.   IND vs ENG 2nd Test Live Score Updates.

England’s line-up also features Chris Woakes, who looks like will be replacing all-rounder Ben Stokes. Woakes’ inclusion means England are going with four-man pace attack and leaving out Moeen Ali again.
