Shafali Verma exploded in the powerplay, powering India ahead in the game. Jemimah Rodrigues joined her and her cameo impacted the game as well. In the end, India comfortably got over the line. They are now leading 2-0 in the series.

Fifty! Shafali Verma is playing a blinder here. Took some time to start but then she absolutely demolised the Sri Lankan bowlers to take India to the doorstep of victory. Played some power-packed shots to get India going and never looked back, Also completed her half-century along the way. 

Out! Jemimah Rodrigues departs after playing an impactful cameo and turning the game in favour of the hosts. Kawya Kavindi made her commit to a big short and she miscued and got holed out in the deep. Just when Sri Lanka thought they could be alive in the game after the dismissal of Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma and Jemimah played explosively and almost decided the game. Out! First breakthrough for Sri Lanka. Kaveesha Dilhari strikes as she removes Smriti Mandhana. India got off to a steady start and were looking dangerous. That is when Kaveesha joined the attack and got rid of Smriti. Smriti came down the track to take her on inside out but never made it to the pitch. Out! Kaushani Nuthyangana departs in the last ball and once again we could see a flurry of run outs in the death for Sri Lanka. Vaishnavi Sharma produced a brave display with some tight bowling in the death as she scalped two wickets. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka got a steady start but couldn't convert. After the dismissal of Chamari Athapaththu, it felt like Sri Lanka will go down the road of the previous game again, being overly cautious. But this time Hasini Perera and Harshitha Samarawickrama have come out with more bravado, taking on the bowlers and fetching a few boundaries as well. They will look to take it as much deep as possible without slowing down. 

Out! India have got the dangerous Chamari Athapaththu walking and their set trap has worked. Sneh Rana joined the attack, tossed up a delivery on the off-side and drew Athapaththu to a big stroke. The ball dipped in-front of her bat and Athapaththu miscued the shot which went straight to the accurately positioned long-off fielder. Out! Kranti Gaud strikes again early in the Sri Lankan. This time it is Vishmi Gunaratne who falls to her. Fullish ball from Kranti, Gunaratne strides forward but yet doesn't reach the pitch of the delivery.
