Post this, Ravichandran Ashwin expressed his dissatisfaction with Tamil Nadu Cricket Board and said that the players are succumbing to the basis of cricket. He went on to say that the team is suffering from a lack of experience. Ashwin admitted that they were outplayed in both departments of the game. Supreme Court Allows Tamil Nadu Cricket Association to Hold Polls on September 28.

He also lashed out at the kind of wickets the board produces at the grass-root level and blamed everyone including the administration, team management and the senior players. “We need a cultural shift in terms of honesty. The Indian spinner also applauded team Himachal for their performance and said that they have all their bases covered. He also said that the team Tamil Nadu needs to get their basics right if they want their cricket to flourish.
