Rohit Sharma missed out his fifth T20I century but not before playing a magnificent knock in his 100th T20I appearance in Rajkot. Chasing a target of 153 runs, the stand-in skipper made an absolute mockery of the bowlers and cleared the boundaries with ease. During the course of his innings, the batsman also completed 2500 T20I runs and surpassed  Suresh Raina to become the second-highest scorer for India in T20 cricket. The skipper, who started his innings at 8321 runs, went past Suresh Raina (8392) by scoring his 71st run. Virat Kohli tops the list with 8556 runs. The opener assessed the conditions in the first few overs of the match and took the attack to the opposition in the latter half of his innings. In total, the right-handed batsman scored 85 off mere 43 deliveries which comprised six boundaries and as many sixes. He looked all set to register his fifth ton but fell prey to Animul Islam in the 13th over of the innings.  India Vs Bangladesh, Live Cricket Score 2nd T20I Match.

Earlier in the match, India won the toss and elected to field first. Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal scalped three wickets and the opposition were restricted to 153 runs. The Bangla Tigers never looked in the contest in the second innings as the opening duo of Shikhar Dhawan and gave his side a flying side. The openers weren’t able to finish off the much but did enough damage to the bowling line-up.  With this win, the Men in Blue will level the series 1-1 and the decider will be played at Ahemdabad on November 10.
