The first T20I match between India vs Australia is all set to begin in 24 hours, and the excitement levels amongst the fans are sky-high. The Indian team was seen in high spirits, as the group broke a sweat during their practise sessions at The Gabba, in Brisbane, on the eve of their first match of the tour Down Under.

Shikhar Dhawan was seen practising his shots in the gruelling nets session; whereas, Krunal Pandya broke-free outside the nets. Captain Kohli was all smiles as he shared a moment with former Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist. The shutterbugs captured the perfect moment as the duo were seen sharing a smile. Also present at India’s net session were Dinesh Karthik, Manish Pandey, and Jasprit Bumrah.

Bumrah was seen playing aggressive shots ahead of the big match on Wednesday. The fast-bowler was ballistic during the nets session. Who knows he might be used as a pinch-hitter in the upcoming T20I series.

Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant, who was chosen ahead of MS Dhoni, on this tour was seen ‘hammering’ his willow too. Pant will be in competition with Karthik as India’s quest for second wicket-keeper is still on.

The BCCI posted a feature video of the Indian team captain, Virat Kohli, too. BCCI wrote, “King Kohli ready and raring to go.” The in-form right-handed flamboyant batsman has broken a slew of records in the past 12 months. Kohli would be looking to add another feather or two as the tour ends.

Going into the match, the batting line-up of the Indian team looks set. It is the bowling combination that will be a headache for the Indian captain, Virat Kohli. With the team management already announcing the 12-man squad ahead of the match, it will interesting to see who gets a chance among Krunal Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, and Yuzvendra Chahal.
