The West Indies cricket team reached a special milestone when they took to the field against Australia to play the match 10 of the ICC Cricket World Cup (CWC) 2019 being held in England and Wales. West Indies have joined Australia, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the list of teams with more than 800 one-day internationals. India leads the list of teams with most number of one-day internationals played by a team. After India, Australia have played the second most number of one-day international matches. Australia are playing their 934th ODI, as they face West Indies in their second match of the ICC CWC 2019. West Indies have won 393 matches out of the 800 ODIs they have played so far (excluding the 800th match, as it's still underway). West Indies have lost 368 of those matches, tied 10 games and 28 matches have ended in no results. Interestingly, West Indies won the first two Cricket World Cups which were held in England in 1975 and 1979 respectively. They also reached the finals of 1983 World Cup, where they lost to India at Lord's cricket ground.
