Real Madrid’s former player Cristiano Ronaldo made a debut for Juventus in a traditional friendly match against Juventus B on Sunday. Thousands of fans had flocked to watch their hero Ronaldo in action as they held the pluck cards and banners of the football start and gave him a warm welcome. The Portuguese star also did not disappoint his fans and scored a goal within the first eight minutes of the game. This sent the crowd into a frenzy. No sooner he scored the goal, the crowd broke into the chants of “Ronaldo, bring us the Champions (League)"

CR7 forced the opponent to score an own goal and this once again sent the crowd into a tizzy. The match was won by the senior team by 5-0. However, as per reports, Ronaldo did not step onto the field for the second half of the match. The pitch invaders stepped on to the football ground and the game had to abandon in the 78th minute itself. Several fans of CR7 waited for getting selfies and autographs with him. Ronaldo, as usual, obliged them with the same and met his fans after the game. Check out Ronaldo’s goal here.

Cristiano Ronaldo also thanked his fans for the support via a tweet.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri after the game said, “What matters most now are matters on the pitch. The ambition is obviously to go as far as possible in the Champions League, but as always, the Coppa Italia and the Scudetto are also essential to us, because nobody gives out trophies until you earn them on the field.

"Regarding [Cristiano] Ronaldo, I can say that we have bought a great player on the pitch, but above all, I was told that he is a superb professional, and that is certainly the case. If he wasn't, he would not have achieved what he has done," he said on a concluding note.
