Yesterday, during the match between Argentina and Nigeria their coach Diego Maradona, had to be attended by paramedics. As concerns for Maradona were soaring, the 57-year-old took to Facebook and wrote he was fin. He mentioned that he was to leave the hospital ahead of the second half.
His Facebook post read, “I want to tell you that I'm fine, I'm not even boarding. In the time of the party with Nigeria I had a lot of pain in the back of my head and I suffered a decompensation. A doctor checked me and recommended me to go home before the second time, but I wanted to stay because we were playing everything. How would i go? I send a kiss to everyone, sorry for the scare and thanks for the stamina, there's Diego for time!”
“I just want to tell you that I'm fine, that I'm not and I wasn't hospitalized. During the time of the game with Nigeria I had a severe pain in the back of my head and a dizzy spell. A doctor visited me and advised me to come home before the second time, but I decided to stay because we were playing everything for everything. How could I leave? A kiss to everyone and thanks for the support... Diego will still be there for quite a while!,” read the post further.
“I want to tell everyone that I am fine, that I am not, neither was I interned. In the halftime of the game against Nigeria, my neck hurt a lot and I suffered a decompensation. I was checked by a doctor and he recommended me to go home before the second half, but I wanted to stay because we were risking it all. How could I leave? I send a kiss to everyone, thanks for the support!,” concluded the post.
