Mumbai City FC will hope to stay in the hunt for a place in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2019-20 semi-finals, While FC Goa – who along with ATK have already qualified for the playoffs – will want to regain the top position in ISL 6 rankings. Goa are tied on points with two-time champions and current league leaders ATK (33) but are ranked second on a worse goal ratio. A win against Mumbai City at home will, however, take them to the top place. The visitors, on the other, will need to win and win all of their remaining two league games to stay alive in the race for the semis.
FC Goa are currently on a three-match unbeaten run and have scored 11 times in their last three matches, which includes four each in successive games. They also enjoy a dominating six-win record at home in eight matches and have won their last five encounters at home. Mumbai City, on the other, have won only twice in seven away matches but must find a way to produce a result at the Fatorda.
