The South Asian Games 2019 which is currently going on in Pokhra, Katmandu is reaching its business end. Nepal stands on number two with 142 medals winning 43 golds, 34 silver and 65 bronze. Sri Lanka was in stands on number three with 170 medals. They have 170 medals against their name winning 30 gold, 57 silver and 83 bronze. On day 7 Indian swimmers picked up nine golds and 16 more in other pool events. The first edition of South Asian Games was held in 1984. A total of seven nations will be participating in the South Asian Games 2019. Other countries taking part in the Games are Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
