At his menacing best, Bryan also locked Cass into a heel-hook submission; Cass limps away backstage and Bryan get along the crowds with the ‘yes’ chant.
The first match of the night was between The New Day & The Bar; with the winner, qualifying to nominate a member in their team to participate in the ‘Money in The Bank’ Ladder match next month. The tag-team match saw The New Day emerge as the winners of the match.
SmackDown Women Champion Carmella’s championship celebration – Mellabration – was interrupted by SmackDown LIVE General Manager Paige. She announced that she would be defending her title against Asuka. Carmella chides her decision and walks away as Asuka stares her down.
