Bharti Airtel launched a new prepaid plan for its users in India. The new recharge plan offers subscribers 3GB of 3G/4G data per day along with unlimited talk time for 82 days priced at Rs. 558. Airtel introduced the new plan to compete with its rivals – Reliance Jio and Vodafone. Under the new prepaid recharge pack, the telecom company is offering unlimited voice calls (local, STD, and National roaming) and 100SMS per day. The prepaid pack is valid for 82 days giving users up to 246GB of 3G/4G data along with no FUP on voice calls.

As for Airtel’s rivals, Vodafone recently launched two new prepaid plans worth Rs. 511 and Rs. 569 for its users while Jio had also similar plans but with different validity options. Vodafone’s recharge plans at Rs. 511 offers unlimited local and STD voice calls including roaming, 100 SMS messages per day and 2GB of 4G data per day valid for 84 days. While Reliance Jio priced at Rs. 299 plan, offers 3GB of daily data valid up to 28 days. Other offers from Jio include recharge plans worth Rs. 498 which offers 2GB of daily data for 91 days and Rs. 509 that provides users with 4GB of daily data for 28 days. Taking note of the above-mentioned recharge prices, Airtel also made few changes to its prepaid plans. Airtel’s Rs. 149 prepaid pack now offers double the data than its previous version, as it now comes with a daily limit of 2GB of 3G/4G data with a validity of 28 days.
