Last week, the Cupertino based company launched a new line of iPhones – XS Max, XS and XR globally. The company introduced many new features to the XS series, which Apple claims that the new devices will outperform their last model iPhone X in various performance scales. During Apple’s ‘Gather Round’ event, Philip W. Schiller, Marketing Executive of Apple Inc. revealed many critical features of the phone, but never mentioned anything about the battery capacity embedded in it. But the device was compared to its predecessor – iPhone X regarding the longer duration of battery performance. Here’s the teardown video of the iPhone XS, reveals its battery shape and capacity.

For starters, the shape of the battery was witnessed to be in an L-shape manner, and also it carried a 2,658mAh battery. As mentioned during the Apple event, the iPhone XS is said to last up to 30 minutes longer to the iPhone X, but if we compare their battery capacity, we will find it odd. The reason behind it is because the iPhone X features a 2,716mAh battery, which compared to the iPhone XS has a larger capacity, the difference is by 58 units. Coming to the specifications, both the iPhone XS and iPhone XS is powered by the latest 7nm A12 Bionic processor coupled with 4GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. However, they both come in different screen sizes. The iPhone XS Max sports a 6.5-inch Super Retina OLED display, whereas, the iPhone XS features a 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED display. On the optics, the smartphone features a dual camera setup of 12MP + 12MP sensors at the rear, and the front incorporates a 7MP sensor for selfies and video calling.
