Flipkart has officially rolled out a new loyalty perk for its Plus members, offering a complimentary Netflix Mobile plan as part of its ongoing reward scheme. Active members who meet specific monthly shopping criteria can now unlock mobile streaming access without any extra charges, bridging e-commerce activity with digital entertainment.
The initiative is designed to reward frequent shoppers across Flipkart’s core platform, quick-commerce service Minutes, and its grocery section. By integrating entertainment benefits directly into its loyalty framework, the retail giant aims to drive user engagement and repeat transactions throughout the year.
Eligibility And Order Requirements
To unlock the Netflix Mobile plan each calendar month, Flipkart Plus members must complete a minimum of four successful orders, with each individual transaction valued at 299 or more. These qualifying purchases can be placed across Flipkart, Minutes, or Grocery stores.
Certain transaction categories are excluded from the eligibility criteria due to government policies and internal guidelines. Orders involving gold and silver coins or bars, infant formula, baby food, baby cereal, cigarettes and tobacco products, Flipkart gift cards, digital products like anti-virus software, and marketplace packaging boxes do not count toward the four-order threshold. Furthermore, any order that is cancelled or falls under an active return window is not classified as successful until the return period concludes.
How To Claim And Manage The Netflix Benefit
Once a Plus member successfully completes the required four orders in a calendar month, progress can be tracked directly within the Flipkart application by navigating to My Accounts, accessing the Plus Page, and selecting the Netflix section. Users can then tap "Claim Now" to link their account and activate the 30-day subscription.
Existing Netflix subscribers must evaluate their current plan type before proceeding. Because the Flipkart benefit exclusively covers the single-device Netflix Mobile plan supporting standard definition, linking an active account running a higher tier will replace existing features. To preserve multi-device or high-definition plans, members are advised to register using an alternative email address or phone number.
