As per a Google Blog post, the complimentary Google AI Plus plan equips eligible students with access to Gemini Omni, double the standard usage limits for Gemini, and 400 GB of cloud storage through Google One. For students seeking advanced productivity tools and media streaming, Google is also providing steep discounts of up to 70% on bundles combining Google AI Pro with a YouTube Premium subscription.
To qualify for these student perks, applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited degree or certificate-granting educational institution. Verification is handled seamlessly online through SheerID by visiting Google's dedicated student portal and signing in with a personal account.
New AI-Powered Study Tools and Gemini Features
Beyond storage and usage perks, the update brings advanced learning capabilities directly into student workflows.
