Motorola has launched the Motorola Razr Fold in India with an 8.1-inch 2K foldable display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, triple 50MP cameras and a 6000mAh battery. The foldable smartphone starts at Rs 1,49,999 and will go on sale from May 20. Motorola also introduced the Moto Buds 2 Plus with Bose tuning, ANC and up to 40 hours battery life.
Motorola has launched its first foldable smartphone in India, the Motorola Razr Fold, alongside the Moto Buds 2 Plus. The new foldable device features an 8.1-inch 2K foldable display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, triple 50MP rear cameras and a 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery.
The company said the smartphone has also received the DXOMARK Gold Label for imaging performance. Motorola Razr Fold Price in India
The Motorola Razr Fold has been launched in three variants:
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: INR 1,49,999
- 16GB RAM + 512GB storage: INR 1,59,999
- FIFA World Cup 2026 Edition: INR 1,69,999
Motorola is offering a INR 10,000 instant bank discount or exchange bonus on select purchases. With exchange offers, the effective starting price drops to INR 99,999. Customers can also avail no-cost EMI options for up to 18 months.
The smartphone will be available in PANTONE Blackened Blue and PANTONE Lily White colour options. Motorola Razr Fold Specifications and Features
The Motorola Razr Fold features a 6.6-inch LTPO AMOLED outer display with up to 165Hz refresh rate. When unfolded, the device offers an 8.1-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED main display with up to 6200 nits peak brightness. The display supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The device runs Android 16-based Hello UI, and Motorola has promised seven years of Android OS and security updates.
Triple 50MP Cameras and 8K Recording
For photography, the Razr Fold comes with a triple rear camera setup comprising:
- 50MP Sony LYTIA 828 primary sensor
- 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and 100x super zoom
- 50MP ultrawide plus macro camera
The smartphone also supports 8K Dolby Vision video recording. For selfies and video calls, the foldable phone includes a 20MP outer camera and a 32MP inner front-facing camera.
Battery and Charging Features
The Motorola Razr Fold packs a 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for:
- 80W wired fast charging
- 50W wireless charging
- 5W reverse charging
Motorola claims the large battery and fast-charging support are designed to improve productivity and multimedia usage on the foldable device.
Moto Buds 2 Plus Also Launched
Alongside the smartphone, Motorola launched the Moto Buds 2 Plus at INR 5,999. The effective price after launch offers is INR 4,999. The earbuds feature dual drivers, Sound by Bose tuning, dynamic ANC, LHDC and LDAC codec support, and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity.
Additional features include CrystalTalk AI, gaming mode, wear detection, dual-device connection support and IP54-rated water resistance. Motorola claims the earbuds can deliver up to 40 hours of total playback time with the charging case.
