According to the report from a wireless technology blog - WiWavelength, the new iPhones demonstrate less signal strength in comparison to its predecessor in a lab test. Several older iPhone 7 and iPhone X owners reported that they had better reception strength than the new iPhones. A Reddit users also reported that the signal issue on the new iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max persists irrespective of the carrier. Moreover, the lab environment testing shows the signal strength on the iPhone XS is significantly weaker than the previous models from Apple. The reports come at a bit of a surprise as the fact that Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max comes with an additional antenna band as compared to previous year's iPhones. Having said that, the increasing signal issues on the new iPhones seems to be growing pain for the new iPhone users. As Apple has just started rolling out the new iPhones in the real world, the company could possibly fix the issue with a software update after collecting real world user data. As a reminder, the new 2018 Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are priced at Rs 99,900 and Rs 109,990 respectively. Both the models are offered in 3 variants - 64GB, 128GB and 512GB. The new iPhone XS comes with a 5.8-inch Super Retina HD display with 2436 x 1125 pixels of resolution. On the other hand, the bigger iPhone XS Max gets a 6.5 inch Super Retina HD display with 2688 x 1242 pixels of resolution. Both the smartphones get 12MP dual cameras at the rear and a 7MP shooter upfront. Powering both the devices are A12 Bionic chipset that is clubbed with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
