Mumbai, January 29: Samsung is preparing to strengthen its foothold in the premium smartphone segment with the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, scheduled to debut at a Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25, 2026. The new flagship emphasises practical hardware upgrades, stronger privacy features, and a refreshed design with gently rounded edges and a lighter yet robust armour aluminium frame.

A major highlight of the Galaxy S26 Ultra is the new “Adaptive Privacy Display”, a hardware-level innovation that ensures content remains clearly visible to the user while reducing visibility from side angles in public environments. Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Price in India

Samsung is expected to follow a largely stable pricing approach in India despite increasing global component costs. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is likely to be priced from INR 1,29,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The 512GB version could retail at around INR 1,39,999, while the top-tier 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model may be priced close to INR 1,59,999.

Following the global unveiling, pre-bookings in India are expected to begin immediately, with deliveries and open sales likely starting from March 11, 2026. The smartphone is also expected to launch in new “shadow” colour options, including Black Shadow, White Shadow, and Ultraviolet.

In the camera department, the smartphone sports a quad rear camera system headlined by a 200MP primary sensor with a wider f/1.4 aperture for improved low-light photography.
