The streaming giant confirmed on Thursday that these updates are designed to help listeners connect more deeply with artists by making song meanings more accessible regardless of language or connectivity. The rollout includes three primary functional changes aimed at both Free and Premium subscribers worldwide.

The move follows data showing that lyrics are viewed hundreds of millions of times daily. Global Expansion of Lyric Translations

Originally launched in select markets in 2022, lyric translations are now being made available to Spotify's global user base.
