Mumbai, February 5: Vivo has officially confirmed that its latest V-series smartphones, the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite, will launch in India on February 19 at 12:00 PM. The upcoming lineup is positioned to compete in the premium mid-range segment, with the company promising the narrowest bezels in the under INR 50,000 category. According to official teasers, the devices will feature a bezel thickness of just 1.25mm, aimed at providing an immersive viewing experience.

The launch will be supported by dedicated microsites on Flipkart, Amazon, and Vivo’s official online store, confirming widespread availability across major e-commerce platforms. The Vivo V70 Elite will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, targeting users who require high-performance capabilities. In contrast, the standard Vivo V70 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. Both models are expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, ensuring visibility even in direct sunlight.

Design-wise, the handsets will sport a square-shaped rear camera module. The standard V70 will be available in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow, while the Elite variant will offer Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Authentic Black colour options. Both devices are confirmed to carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing significant protection against dust and high-pressure water ingress.
