Vivo has officially launched the X Fold 6, its latest book-style foldable smartphone, in the Chinese market. This device marks a significant strategic shift for the brand, as it becomes the company’s first foldable model to be powered by a MediaTek chipset, moving away from its previous reliance on Snapdragon processors.
The handset features a refined aesthetic design, balancing durability with a remarkably slim profile when folded. The Vivo X Fold 6 features an 8.02-inch AMOLED inner display with a resolution of 2504 x 2312, 1Hz-120Hz LTPO refresh rate, and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. The 6.51-inch cover display shares similar refresh rate technology and brightness levels. Internally, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset, complemented by the Vivo V3+ imaging chip, LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and UFS 4.1 storage.
Its rear camera setup is headlined by a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB primary sensor with OIS, alongside a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 602 periscope telephoto lens. Both displays house 20-megapixel selfie cameras. The device is backed by a 7,000mAh Blue Ocean solid-state battery with 80W wired and 40W wireless charging support. Vivo X Fold 6 Price in China
The Vivo X Fold 6 is available in five configurations. The 12GB+256GB model is priced at CNY 7,999 (approximately INR 1,11,000), while the 12GB+512GB version costs CNY 8,999 (approximately INR 1, 25,000). The 16GB+512GB variant is CNY 9,999 (approximately INR 1,38,000), and the 16GB+1TB option is CNY 10,999 (approximately INR 1, 52,500). The Black Gold Edition with 16GB+1TB storage is priced at CNY 11,299 (approximately INR 1,57,000).
