Xiaomi Mi A2 Android One Smartphone Listed Online on Amazon India; Prices Revealed Ahead of Launch

With only a few hours left for the launch of the Xiaomi Mi A2 smartphone in India today, Xiaomi fans are excited about the unveiling.  This new phone will be the second Android One device (Mi A1) from the Chinese smartphone company, which was released last year. Launched earlier in Spain, the smartphone gets a better camera, display and UI compared to its predecessor. Yesterday, a Twitter user posted a picture, which showed that the Mi A2 smartphone was listed for sale on Amazon. Priced at Rs 17,499, the 64 GB ROM + 4 GB RAM variant was spotted under Amazon’s ‘Today’s Deals’ category. Coming to the specifications, the device sports a 5.99-inch FHD+ display protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Running the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Kyro processor paired with up to 6 GB RAM and up to 128 GB onboard storage space. For graphics, the phone packs an Adreno 512 GPU. On the optics side, Mi A2 incorporates a dual camera setup of 12MP + 20MP sensors, which is set at an aperture of f/1.75. Also, both the cameras have Sony IMX486 and IMX376 lenses respectively. As for the front-facing camera, the device comes with a 20MP Sony IMX376 set at a f/1.75 aperture. Equipped with AI technology, the phone features many tools to enhance the image as well as the video quality.
