Xiaomi India is all set to launch the new smartphone under its Redmi sub-brand on July 17, 2019. To be called as Redmi K20, the smartphone has been teased on Flipkart with a dedicated page hinting that the new device will be retailed exclusively via e-commerce site. The Flipkart teaser confirms that the smartphone will pack fast processor, AI triple cameras, Aura prime design, pop-up selfie camera, in-display fingerprint sensor and much more. To recall, Xiaomi launched the Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro smartphones in China a couple of months ago. Now, the phone maker is planning to bring the devices in India too. When launched, the smartphone will be retailed online via Flipkart and official Mi.com website. On the specification front, the Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 will sport a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with resolution of 1080X2340p. The smartphones will also carry an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 along with screen-to-body ratio of 91.9 percent. The company will also be offering in-display fingerprint sensor on both the devices. The main difference between the devices lie under the hood, as Redmi K20 will be powered by Snapdragon 730 SoC whereas the Pro variant will get a Snapdragon 855 SoC. The chipset on the Redmi K20 Pro will be paired with Adreno 640 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM.

Coming to the camera department, the Redmi K20 Pro will get AI-powered triple camera module at the back. The setup comprises of a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor (f/1.75) along with a 13MP secondary sensor (wide-angle lens) and an 8MP sensor with aperture of f/2.4 lens. At the front, there will be a 20MP pop-up selfie camera for selfies and video calling. On the other hand, Redmi K20 will also get a triple rear camera featuring a 48MP Sony IMX582 as primary sensor. Both the devices will get up to 256GB of onboard storage.

For connectivity, the devices will carry Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphones will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery with 27W and 18W fast charging support for Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 respectively.
