50 Doctors Die In A Day Due To Covid-19, Pandemic Toll At 1000 As Per Indian Medical Association

News of Dr KK Agarwal’s death adds to the deadly toll of Indian doctors who have succumbed to the COVID-19 infection ever since the pandemic began last year. 244 doctors have lost their lives to Covid-19 this year in India's second wave. Last year, 736 doctors had lost their lives during the first wave. A total of nearly 1,000 doctors across India have lost their lives due to Covid-19 so far according to the Indian Medical Association.
