INDIA Team Latestly|

Army aspirants across the country have been protesting against the government’s newly launched Agnipath scheme. On June 20, PM Modi while referring to the Agnipath scheme said that certain decisions may look unfair at first, but will help in nation-building later. The army chief, Navy chief and Air Force chief will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 21 to brief him on the Agnipath scheme. This meeting comes in the wake of widespread protests across the nation. Over the last few days, railways have suffered major losses due to these protests. The central government has filed a caveat in the Supreme Court. Centre has urged that the court must hear its side before taking any decision on the petitions against the Agnipath scheme. Watch the video to know more.
