Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan received film industry’s highest honour Dadasaheb Phalke award. 77-year-old actor was awarded by President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Jaya and Abhishek Bachchan attended the ceremony. The prestigious award is named after father of Indian cinema Dhundiraj Govind Phalke. After receiving Dadasaheb Phalke award, Amitabh Bachchan said that some work is left which he has to complete. “When this award was announced I thought maybe it’s a hint that I have done much work, now I should sit at home but there is some work left which I have to complete,” said Amitabh Bachchan at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
