Coronavirus Crash: BSE Sensex, & Global Stocks Crumble As Economies Shut Down Over COVD-19 Scare

BSE Sensex halted trading for 45 minutes at the start of the trading after a massive sell-off resulted in the stocks hitting the lower circuit. Benchmark indices hit the lower circuit in the first hour of trading itself. This is the second time in two weeks that trading has been halted in the Indian stock markets. BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty are following the trends set by Asian markets which also saw a drop of an average of 3% points.
