Many Pakistanis on X (formerly Twitter) have claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was warned by the US that Pakistan would launch a major attack unless India accepts certain conditions. They further claimed that India accepted the conditions immediately after receiving the warning from US Vice President JD Vance. They shared a clip from an interview of India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to make these claims. However, the truth is these claims are misleading as Pakistani accounts are sharing only a part of Jaishankar's full statement. Jaishankar's full statement reveals that PM Modi had indicated that there would be a response from India if Pakistan attacks.
