In less than 24 hours of international pop star Rihanna tweeting a photograph of India's protesting farmers with an article highlighting the internet ban around Delhi's borders, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh released a song on her titled 'Riri' (another name for Rihanna). The 2:15 minute song acknowledges Rihanna's home country Barbados and how the pop star is an angel who has descended from heaven. The rest of the song has a lot of clichés about beauty and clothing that are often heard in Punjabi songs. The lyrics of the song has been written by Raj Ranjodh while the music is by Intense. Meanwhile, the token of appreciation has not gone down well with actor Kangana Ranaut, who has been critical of the farmers often calling them terrorists. She took to Twitter to mock Dosanjh. And the Twitter war started. Watch the video to know more.
