The Hindu calendar month of Sawan has just begun in India. Devotees across India are now preparing themselves for Hariyali Teej, a day that is dedicated to worship Goddess Parvati and her holy union with Lord Shiva. This year Hariyali Teej falls on 3rd August 2019. Teej is celebrated by Hindu women, in North India, especially in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.
