On June 15, landslides were reported from several parts of Guwahati for the second consecutive day. Incessant rains have led to water-logging in many parts of the city in Assam. Four people died due to a landslide in Boragaon in Guwahati on June 14. As reported by PTI, Assam has registered 42 deaths due to floods and landslides this year. Dima Hasao has also witnessed multiple landslides in the area. NDRF and SDRF personnel have been helping in the rescue operation and providing relief material to the needy. All schools, colleges and educational institutions have been asked to suspend classes. Several roads and bridges have been damaged. Watch the video to know more.
